The EAG is fully run by the older students in our school, it was founded even before we were an Eco-School. These students meet weekly and organise activities and events throughout the year. This year some of the installations/debate provokers/events have been related to Fast Fashion and the clothes we wear; veganism and a vegan baking contest; weekly donations from our mensa to the local Food Bank (17kgs of prepared meals were picked up); waste separation workshops.

- Welke tips wil je andere Eco-teams geven bij het organiseren van een activiteit/evenement?: Since this is a learning opportunity for the students, they should be given the responsibility to implement their own projects, even if at times the results will not be exactly what they expected. There is growing in failure too and that should be the key to our education efforts.

- Waarom zijn jullie hier trots op?: The example of these students is extraordinary for others in our community. All ideas are generated by the students themselves and they plan and organise all the activities involved, including of course communications. More and more connections are made among the different student working groups in the Eco-Team, highlighting the importance of strong teams and networking to advance the Sustainability agenda.
