Sign up as a school

• Within one week, you will receive a confirmation of registration by email, a welcome letter with all the information you need, and login details for the platform. The platform gives you access to the comprehensive toolkit, the online Eco-Scan, examples of good practice, your school profile, and the option to request audits.

• You will be connected with a regional mentor, who will contact you to arrange a kick-off meeting at your school.

• You will receive a starter pack by post, including an enamel sign for the school entrance, an Eco-Schools folder containing the welcome letter and an explanation of the Seven-Step Programme, stickers, pens and a table flag.

Costs

Eco-Schools operates on a subscription model. The cost consists of an annual participation fee. In addition, during the first two years, we provide support to help you get off to a strong start, including interim audits and more intensive guidance towards achieving the Green Flag. This involves a one-time fee upon registration. The costs are the same for primary education, secondary education and vocational education (MBO).
