The Eco-Club voted on the themes they thought were most important for bringing attention to in Earth Day and we decided on: Litter & Waste ; Energy & Water ; Nature & Agriculture ; Climate Change We joined up into sub-groups that wanted to work on lessons about these topics and worked in-person and in shared documents and chat groups online to make sure that students from all the campuses could contribute. https://sites.google.com/aics.espritscholen.nl/earthday2022/home

Earth Day
- Waarom zijn jullie trots op deze dag?: We got the whole school involved in the event and have made it an annual event which will integrate into the school curriculum! This means that every year we will have one event-day which will focus on the earth, climate and sustainability, with the Eco-Club at the forefront, spreading awareness of Eco-Schools and involving students and parents in potential community projects.
- Welke tips wil je andere Eco-Teams geven bij het organiseren van een aanhaakdag?: You can make an easy website on Google Sites that is accessible by people in your organisation or with a password. Then all classes in your school can follow the same lesson activities without all the teachers needing to know exactly what the tasks are beforehand. Just give good instructions on the site for step-by-step activities. You can also make your lessons slightly different depending on the age-groups if you want.
