This was then initiative of our Diversity Officer who asked for the support of the Eco Team. The idea is that people sit under the tree and share wisdom, discussing problems and solving them. The tree was funded by the proceeds of the ISB Sustainable Preloved Market. The Eco Team were delighted to support it as it fulfilled out aim of making our school more green.

The Thoughtful Tree

- Waarom zijn jullie hier trots op?: It addresses our themes of People and Nature. It contributes to our aim of making our school more green and it is a very visible effort to bring people together and start dialogue. Students and staff are invited to hang a coloured leaf in the tree. Red means there is a problem to fix. Orange leaves show what needs more attention. Green leaves show what is going well. I was delighted that the first green leaf on the tree was commenting on what an improvement the paper bins were and how well it was going with the paper separation.
